And then, It was Park - Celta 2 - Getafe 1- Match Report and Photos

Many Korean fans might have had less sleep than they expected, as, at this time, they are still celebrating Celtas Victory. the celebration is even more special because Korea´s favourite, Chu-Young Park scored the goal that earned Celta 3 points.

As usual this season, Celta started the game with a great display of control, but once again, the strikers seemed to have theis scope pointing in the wrong direction. Mario Bermejo had two oportinities, but his shoots were going wide all the time. The eteran striker offered work and sacrifice once again, but it seemed as if the afternoon was going to be spcial for someone else. Iago Aspas had a good chance, hiting the base of the post in his effort. During the first half, celta dominated midfield, leving nearly no spaces for Getafe to create any type of danger. At the end of the first half there were no goals, and the feeling among the supporters that it might be Park´s time to shine.

Until this point, Iago Aspas was displying al sort of plays, dribbles and agility, with finding the net beeing the only thing missed from his performance. once again Iago proved to be La Liga material, and Park was probably smiling in the bench thinking about all the good things he is going to be able to do with Aspas on the attack.

Deffensive wise, Celta was playing very serious, not conceding too much options to Getafe´s attackers. The only player from Getafe that seemed able to create any kind of threat in the field was Barrada. As expected, the Marrocco international was showing a lot of clsh when he was touching the ball, but he was not supported by any of his team mates.

The second half started a little bit more cold for Celta, but just for a couple of minutes. Borja Oubiña was commanding the midfield, accompanied by Alex Lopez, who did not play his best match, but affered a lot of sacrifice. With Alex Lopez too tied, Celta's captain tookk control of the game, and started to sweep all the ball around his zone.

MKD also offered a great display of plays. The danish international tried his best to score his first goal with Celta but his efforts were not rewarded. But he did a mavelous play in where he invented a pass out of nowhere to argentinain international, Augusto Fernández, who in a 1 on 1 situation with Getafe´s keeper Moyá, found the net to score his first goal with Celta. Happiness in all of Celta's supporter, that lasted for about a minute. Diego Castro found himself an easy ball in the area, and the Galician passed to Barrada who scored easily. Too much prize for a greedy Getafe that did not offer any kind of answer to Celta´s game.

Once again Herrera found himself in a position where he was watching a game in where Celta was dominant, but could not get a clear victory. Many were sure thinking on what happened last week, but Herrera found the solution on the bench Park, that was warming up sincethe beginning of the second half, came into the pitch with the hope to score a goal. Probably he could not have dreamt of a better debut in Balaidos. He came in, and the first ball he touched went directly to the net. Balaidos went crazy, and the Parkmania was just starting. MKD, once again, was on the assist. The danish international completed his best match with Celta.

MKD and Park earned two more good chances to score, but both man, after two great plays respectively, found their shoot either saved or going out. The match tension was increasing, and as result, Alexis slaped Roberto Lago and was sent off. Prior to that Celta's coach, Paco Herrera was also sent off by the referee, although he admited he did not do anything to deserve that.

Little more happened until the end of the game, with Celta trying to save the ball and let the clock run until the end of the game. With the end of the gamecame a happiness explosion. All players were congratulaing Park on his performance, who earned Man Of the Match for his display.

One more thing to be noted, is that Centolos Celestes (Blue King Crabs), one of the more significant Celta Supporter's group, had a banner for Park, who saluted them, thanking them for their effort.

About the referee, it's better not to say anything, cause his ridiculous display drove crazy every single player on the field.

By the way, Park dream came true.......
